Research

Projects

What if? I wonder if? Could we? How is/are? What would happen if? Hmmm…

Most of our works start off with those types of words. Dr. Ladi Semali, one of our lab advisors, would call this the “wonderment” stage….and before we know it, we are off.

Most of our projects are research-based, while others are community-based projects. In a research-based project, we explore the phenomenon and are driven to answer questions. Our projects are primarily cross-cultural and involve collaborations between collocated teams or replication of a study in a different cultural setting. In our community-based projects, we team up on a project intending to solve a problem and impact change.

Publications

Publications are one of the main ways that we disseminate our work. We publish in peer-reviewed journals, popular magazines, blogs, and on various social media.

Our goal is to engage in and inform conversations.
